- System-testing analysis methods for heavy metal detection with graduate and undergraduate researchers under Professor Dr. Wen Li, enhancing analytical skills and strengthening teamwork and communication abilities in an interdisciplinary research setting
- Responsible for testing the prepared carbon fiber microelectrode by using different electrochemical analysis systems, including Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and fast-scan cyclic voltammetry (FS-CV)
- Conducted over 1000 experiments and prepared graphical data analysis on MATLAB and OriginLab, refined systems, and manufactured a 3D structure to house sensors and filters in Computer Aided Software for additive manufacturing
Project 2: Low-Cost Potentiostat for Fast Cyclic Voltammetry in Heavy Metal Detection
- Developing an affordable potentiostat system to conduct fast cyclic voltammetry (FCV) for heavy metal detection, utilizing a Teensy 4.1 microcontroller. This project integrates C programming for core microcontroller functions and Python scripting to streamline system operations, achieving efficient, reliable performance.
- Implementing multithreading on the microcontroller to enhance system efficiency and ensure accurate data handling. Emphasis is placed on minimizing errors associated with file saving on the SD card, thereby optimizing data integrity and storage.
- Designing a comprehensive file management system that enables easy data retrieval and analysis through Python scripts, facilitating efficient data processing and ensuring compatibility with various analysis tools.

Project Demonstration.mp4Embarked on an exciting and challenging journey to design and build a temperature-controlled fan and warning lights system. This project, part of our electronics lab course ECE 203, required us to enhance our understanding and application of various electronic components and circuits. Our system utilizes a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor to measure temperature changes accurately. As the temperature increases, the resistance of the thermistor decreases, allowing us to adjust the fan speed and activate different colored LEDs based on the temperature range detected.
